â‚° Gone Monday, 28 January 2013 | 0 comment[s] Poof. Gone. No electricity. Well, this is only because the weather here in QLD has been really bad. Like, seriously bad. So much wind and rain that there has been flash floods... Again. Sighs. I'm just glad tht I didn't get flooded. But with the day without any electricity, I wonder how my parents were gonna go charge their phones. Haha. Or how we were going to survive through it. But then, we did somehow survive through it.. Haha. Me haven woken up at nine.. again. Haha. (Yes, I ended up sleeping late.) My parents at first intended to take us to a restuarant but when we got to the usual place to eat... It was like a freaking ghost town. Haha. (Yeah, I'm talking about the place where I met you ouja. LOL. Should've told me so that I bought your rings. Ya idiot.) Since there was actually no electricity for the area, my parents just bought some food for us to fry at home. Haha. Suprisingly, my mum made rice without a rice cooker but with a pot. LOL. Now that, was a funny thing to see. HAHA! She cooked some meat because we had some oil left to use to cook using the stove. Haha. It was a fine lunch. After, I continued watching the Japanese movie I was going to watch with my siblings - Howl's Moving Castle. Seen it before but re-watching it because there was nothing else to do while I wated. Haha. Laptop ran out of batteries but at a fine time. We were planning to do go to my cousin's house who had luckily still had electricity. Haha. Lucky him. But not soon after, around five families were at his house, six including his. Hahaha. So stuffy, and all just to recharge their phones or laptops. But yeah. I'm just posting this a day after because of no electricity sooooo... yeah. I'll go post the next one now. Haha. Second chances are given, don't waste them. |
